Massachusetts’ own Converge took to the road in support of Meshuggah on their Immutable Tour. I have a long and storied history with Converge, and this set was another page in a fantastic run of shows I’ve seen them perform. I can remember way back when I was in high school, seeing them play local shows, their energy on stage was unmatched. Almost 30 years later, it hasn’t changed at all. From the moment they hit the stage until the end of their set, it was full-speed, pedal to the metal unbridled chaos, in the absolute best possible way. I’ve seen these guys so many times over the years, and every single time it’s been a damn good show! I’m glad to have had the chance to cover this set, it was an absolute juggernaut of a performance!
